Pragati O. Desai, MBA, M. COM
Pragati was born
and raised in Mumbai, the financial capital of India.
She obtained her Bachelors in Commerce, Specialization in
Accountancy from Sydenham College of
 Commerce,
Mumbai University in India. After her bachelors
degree, she obtained her Masters in Commerce with
Specialization in Accountancy from Mumbai University in
India. She obtained her Masters in Business
Administration (MBA) from California State University,
Fresno.
She has worked for
KPMG, international LLP and J.P. Morgan Chase as well as
working in such varied locations as India, London, Hong Kong
and now finally the United States. She is a member of
the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and
the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
She has traveled to
Paris, Dijon, Belgium and Macau but still loves India the
best as it's a land with diversified cultures. She
enjoys cooking and traveling and inherits these loves from
her Father, Omprakash Desai, who loves to travel and her
Mother, Neeta Desai, who is an excellent Cook.
Along with her sister Pradnya Bhere, they have inspired her
to live the life she is living today.
She enjoys the
lifestyle and climate of Fresno. The lack of traffic
and the ability to drive for a few hours and enjoy the
Mountains, the Sea Shore or the sights and sounds of a Big
City are key advantages of living and working in Fresno.
She sees that the City is developing a great deal and she
sees a bright future here.
